Luo Hanjin holds a PhD in Engineering from the National University of Yamanashi, Japan, and is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Environment and Energy at South China University of Technology. Currently, he is an expert in reviewing national science and technology awards and a reviewer of papers in more than 30 domestic and foreign academic journals. Mainly carried out water environment pollution assessment and research on the mechanisms of arsenic and fluorine pollution in groundwater, technological treatments such as photocatalytic oxidation, advanced oxidation, graphene and other nanocomposite materials, treatment and pollution control of heavy metal-contaminated water bodies and refractory industrial organic wastewater. Basic and applied research work, presided over the completion of a number of National Natural Science Foundation projects. He has published more than 100 research papers, including more than 50 SCI journal papers, and 6 national invention patents.
