Features
(1) The process flow and equipment are relatively simple, occupying less space, with a high degree of automation, easy management and maintenance, and stable processing effects.
(2) The amount of pressurized water is small and power consumption is saved.
(3) Emulsification is not promoted during the air flotation process.
(4) Alum flowers are formed well and there are few flocs in the effluent.
(5) The volume of the air flotation tank is larger than the other two methods.
(6) Under pressurized conditions, the solubility of air is large, and the number of bubbles used for air flotation is large, which can ensure the effect of air flotation.
(7) The floating process of microbubbles is stable and has little disturbance to the water flow.

Working Principle
1. Raw water enters the mixing reactor, and chemicals (degreasing agent or coagulant) are added to the mixing reactor to form separable flocs;
2. The pretreated sewage enters the air flotation device, and the tiny bubbles (bubble diameter range 30~50um) released in the sewage and air-water mixture in the water inlet chamber are mixed. These tiny bubbles adhere to the flocs in the sewage, forming airborne bodies with a specific gravity smaller than water. The air float rises to the water surface and condenses into floating oil (or scum), which is scraped by the oil (slag) scraper to the oil (slag) collection tank;
3. The heavier solid particles in the water inlet chamber settle here and are discharged through the sand discharge valve. The system requires the sand discharge valve to be opened regularly to keep the water inlet chamber clean;
4. When sewage enters the water distribution area of the air flotation device, the rapidly rising particles will float to the water surface; the slower rising particles will be separated in the corrugated inclined plate. Once a particle contacts the corrugated inclined plate, it can reverse the flow under the action of buoyancy. Rise in the direction of water flow.
