Cavitation Air Flotation Machine(CAF)
product picture
Features
The CAF is an excellent sewage treatment technology with reasonable design, convenient operation and economical operation. It generates bubbles from air and directly removes impurities such as suspended solids, grease, and colloids from wastewater. The following are the technical features of the vortex flotation machine:
1. No need of reflux pump, air compressor and pressure vessel
2. Save operating cost, floor space and investment cost
3. Simple, compact and maintenance-free
4. Especially suit for oily wastewater treatment
Working Principle
The components of CAF (cavitation air flotation) include the skimmer, electric cabinet, flotation tank, and aerator. By absorbing air, the aerator's high-speed spinning motor will create air bubbles, which the stainless steel bulk air impeller will subsequently disperse throughout the sludge water tank.
By using the centrifugal force generated by the impeller spinning at a high speed, the aerator creates negative pressure and draws in additional gas through the aeration port. The submerged aeration port then releases the air once more. A high-speed spinning impeller will reduce bubbles from the bores of the perforated impeller to 30-100um tiny bubbles. Eventually, after entering the flotation tank, the flocculating sewage combines with these microbubbles. The suspended solids are then attracted to these micro-bubbles, which cause them to float to the top. A floating layer forms on the unit's surface as a result of these suspended materials adhering to the micro-bubbles that support the water's surface. A skimming device dumps the floating layer into the scum tank.
